Anika Noni is an American performer and singer. She is most famous for her character Tiana as the Princess, and"the Frog's African-American Princess. She was recognised as one of the Disney Legend. Rose was in the role of Lorrell Robinson in the Academy Award-winning film Dreamgirls. Anika Noni Rose (born on September 6, 1973) is an American actor and vocalist. The most famous of her roles was her role as Tiana, the Disney Princess who is the first African American princess in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Disney Legends named her one of them in 2011. The most famous of her roles is her role as Lorrell Robinson as the Oscar Award-winning film Dreamgirls (2006) and her performance as LaVerne the Jukebox Ganner in the Starz TV series Power. Her name has been praised for her performances in the theatre, such as her starring roles on the stage in Caroline or Change (2004) on Broadway in which her Tony Award was won for Best actor in Musical.
